About Me

Layout Created Anthony Begay
First of all, I'm NO DAMN "Indian" (Indians are from the Middle East, where all that war is). I am a Navajo(Dine'). I know my clan too. I belong to Tsi'naajnii(Black-Streaked-Wood People) and born for Nneesht'zh Tchii'nii(Charcoal-Streaked Division of Tchii'nii) and my maternal Grandfather is Tbh(Water's Edge Clan) and my paternal Grandfather is T'aheedliinii(Water-Flows-Together Clan).Im a guy who has cleand up his act, the one who chooses not to use alcohol and commercial tobacco. I currentley attend Dixie State Collage in St. George, Utah. I was born in Salt Lake City. I lived in S.L.C for only two years or so and then I moved down to Southern Utah. I attended elementary school at West Elementary and then I attended the Woodward Sixth Grade Center before It got turned into a heritage center. Shifting to my middle school years i moved to Hurricane to finish my school. I progressed onto Hurricane High and graduated with the class of 2004. I was a little skeptal about going to collage because I wanted to be free from school work. My Parents convinced my to continue my education so I can a better lifestyle for myself. Everytime I hear the quote "Nobody's Perfect", I strongly believe in what that means because when I was in my early teenage years I started drinking and using pot. At the age of 15-16 I realized that I was becoming somone who I said I would never become. Sooner or later the marijuana and alcohol was going to catch up to me and mess up my life in a horriable way because I've seen what the outcome of using excessive alcohol and drug use can do. I slowed my party times down until I finially quit the pot and later quit drinking. The biggest infulnce that helped me was my older cousin Nolan, who was an active member of the Native American Church. I started going to peyote meetings around the Coppermine Chapter area and started learning how to pray and sing during the all-night ceremonies. To this day I thank the all the holy gods, the fireplace, and most of all Mother Peyote. Also, Im 5'9 and 275lbs.(Im a big guy). I'm trying to grow my hair out so I can look like 'Wind in his Hair' from the movie "Dances with Wolves". The funny thing is that the Natives here at Dixie State are shy but not all of them. Right now it would be nice to have some .. friends that are Native. I just want to get to know some people who are involved in the Native American Church. The average 20 year old male supposedly has a girlfriend or even married. My parents taught me some valuable teachings, some on relationships. They told me to wait, yeah wait until my education is completed. Holy crap, If i wait till i get to be a Registered Nurse and start dating after that, i'll be like 28 or 30. (That's sad). The funny thing is that my cousin Nolan, the one who helped me, he was looking for the right woman like, full blooded Navajo, has traditional values, knows how to cook, speak Navajo, attends N.A.C meetings, and other stuff. Nolan actually wanted to make his mom proud by finding a woman with all those qualities, instead Nolan married a Chorokee woman and had a baby girl. Now listen to this part, Nolan was attending N.A.C meeting and in comes in the perfect Navajo woman, who was single and looking. By the time the meeting was over, Nolan's dream girl wanted to hook up but sadly Nolan had to tell her that he was married and had a child. Nolan went back to his mother and told her everything what happend, she told him "I told you to wait for a woman.". Thats why I'm staying away from producing children and marriage. And the fact that I'm unattractive helps too.

My Interests
