About Me

Established in 2003 by the The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH), the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Secondary Conditions in Individuals with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) is a five-year project federally funded/supported by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), a division of the United States Department of Education. The RRTC on Secondary Conditions in Individuals with SCI is a collaborative effort of national leaders in SCI-related research, clinical expertise, support and education organizations, independent living centers, and consumers with SCI. This effort teams NRH clinicians and researchers with other experts in the field from: the University of Miami School of Medicine/Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, Independent Living Resource Utilization (ILRU) at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research, National Spinal Cord Injury Association, Spinal Cord Injury Network.For more information please check out our website:http://www.ilru.org/html/projects/SCI/index.htmhttp: //sci-health.org/index.php
