Hey Everyone! My name is Tammy Sundelius. I was born and raised here in Northern Michigan. I LOVE MUSIC!!! Music is the core of who I am! I breathe it, sleep it, dream it... ideas for my next song are always running through my mind. I’ve been writing music since I was 9 years old. I had a rough childhood, but it was in those lowest times that I discovered my true love for music! I was adopted into a Christian home when I was eleven, and my mother enrolled me in piano lessons and I sort of took off from there with my singing and songwriting. I was pretty much raised in church and that is where my singing career really began. I knew I loved the stage from the very first time I stepped onto it and sang into the microphone. I've been through a lot in my short 23 years and the one thing I'm certain of in this life is that God has given me a talent, and I know He didn't give it to me to keep it to myself. I've had a lot to write about, and some of my songs can be depressing to those of you who don't understand the pain in the songs. But I know that there are those of you out there who do, and you are the ones I write these songs for. I really like Reba McEntire's quote, "“For me, singing sad songs often has a way of healing a situation. It gets the hurt out in the open into the light, out of the darkness.†And that has been so true in my own life and songwriting! If I can touch someone out there and inspire them to keep fighting no matter what comes their way, and to keep believing when all seems hopeless…If I could just reach one person, one young boy or girl, and make a difference in their life... So this is me and my music! I hope ya'll enjoy!
