About Me

Well, I used to write poetry and work on campaigns and dance Azteca and spend a lot of time on MySpace and keep up with the news and sing and pluck around on my guitar in my free time. Then I had a kid. Now I work at Causa Justa :: Just Cause, a multi-racial, cross-bay housing and immigrant rights organization. I spend all day geeking out on databases, and websites and office equipment so that our organizers can work to keep build people's power and keep people in their homes. Nowadays my free time is spent changing diapers, producing milk, cleaning my house, and tutoring UC Berkeley students in writing. I dream about the old days when I'd sit for hours revising a poem or trying to figure out the chords for my favorite Enanitos songs.It's a great life, really.
