JIMI RUSSELL

Jimi Russell trained as a pianist and composer specialising in avant-garde orchestral and electro-acoustic music before moving to London and forming several rock bands in the Nineties - Soho, the Suffragettes, Count The Vultures, Live Fast Die Young, Three Weeks in a Helicopter, Masters of Subversion, and Alien DNA. Since 1999 he has been singer in the Space Cowboys. After a major flood destroyed everything in his London flat James returned home to Scotland where he exhibited as a visual artist, setting up first the Infrared Gallery and then the Harbour Gallery in Glasgow and showing new work by many emerging and established international artists.
