i am fortunate to be the mother of three fantastic kids, two girls and a boy. my oldest daughter is really more like my best girlfriend than a daughter, which definitely has it good and bad moments. there are times it's hard to be a mom but i wouldn't trade our closeness to make my job easier. i also consider myself lucky to have two best friends in my life. my best male friend can be seen with me in the slideshow below.
i hope and pray that someday he'll be more than just my best friend but for now, that's where we're at. don't get me wrong, it's a great place to be - especially when being with him takes me to beautiful places like the one in the pics. they're from a trip we took to st. lucia last november. we also spent a few days in jamaica while we were in the neighborhood. it was amazing! the down side to that relationship is that he currently lives about 600 miles away, which can't be helped. it's all part of his job and i wouldn't dream of complaining about the miles - last year he was 7000 miles away. hopefully one more tour and we can close the distance even more.
i literally thank God every day that these four people are in my life.
