Hi,
My name is Alex. I'm 24. Live in a village 9 Km near Rotterdam called Poortugaal. I'ts really small village because by car you drive around it in 15 minutes.
I started playing bass in 2000. In 2002 I was asked by friends to play with them in a Band they called Grafveld (in English Gravefield). Their goal was to play metal which would primarily target the Thrash/Black metal area. In the spring of 2003, we became fed up with the name Grafveld. So after a long discussion we decided to call ourselve BaTTeR. "To batter" is a rather more appropriate. So we have changed our name and our goal. Batter is now a Thrash orientated band with some influence of other metal styles. Check for some of those songs with crapy sound @ Batter In April 2008 i decided to quit Batter.
Since March 2006 I joined Warmaster to helped them out. So I decided to help these guys to make some brutal old school death metal like Bolt Thrower. I also enjoy to play with these guys because thanks to their experience I learn a lot. Check some of their songs @ Warmaster
I'm recently stept in an other Death metal band called Dark Remains. Rik didn't have the time anymore to play with Dark Remains. And for me it's also a way to play together with my older Brother.
