About me:
I host weekly Thursday and Saturday parties at HOME (27th St. btw 10th/11th Ave) and a new Friday party at The Madison (24th st btw 5th/6th Ave). I also throw a lot of special events for celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgewick, Sarah Silverman, Kanye West, John Legend, The Beastie Boys, The Shins, The Faint, Fall Out Boy, TV on the Radio, Ben Lee, etc as well as for companies such as Columbia Records, Subpop Records, Planet Magazine, Soma Magazine, Mass Appeal Magazine, US Weekly, IFP, Think Films and fashion designers such as Twinkle and Tracy Reese.Aside from these engaging social activities I like to waste an incredible amount of time making independent films and tv pilots. My 35mm narrative short film, FOR CAROLINE, was purchased by The Independent Film Channel and my last documentary project, PROM DATE premiered at the South By Southwest Film Festival in March '06 before playing at The Sarasota Film Fest, the Tribeca Film Fest and the Seattle International Film Fest. Prom Date was featured on ABC News and in Timeout Magazine and is now playing on Al Gore's new channel CURRENT TV (channel 107 on Comcast Cable in NYC or 366 on Direct TV nationwide). I also recently finished my latest reality tv pilot, SUNDANCE CELEBRITY SWAG HUNT. SCSH features Gary Coleman and Dustin Diamond(Screech from Saved by the Bell) competing to get the most swag at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. On the writing side of things I recently finished my 195th draft of GOD BLESS THE BURTONS, a quirky feature length script and am working on a new screenplay which I hope to direct in the not so distant future. In the meantime you can find out more info on me and all my other exciting projects on my incredibly entertaining website – www.poull.com
