History
Nathrath started in 2004 as a project of Grim & Morvan (both guitars) to mix up Black with Thrash Metal. Most of the songs of this period were deleted or recomposed. In 2006 Von Folter (drums) and Knarz (bass) joined the project. And the music got a raw black metal style. After only one year Von Folter left the Band and Knarz changed the 4-string-axe with the battery.
In autuum 2007 the first demo, called "Demotion" was released. This demo includes only songs which were written between end of 2005 and spring 2007 and was recorded in only one night.
In the beginning of 2008 Sargon completed the line-up as vocalist. During the work for the next release, which has more melancholic and experimental shades, a few songs grown into another direction. This was the birth of the idea "Old Dirt".
