Matt Gombossy

Nineteen-year-old Matt Gombossy is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter with a fresh knack for writing a memorable song. With grit and determination he picked up a guitar and started penning songs, surprising friends and family with his growth and depth of lyrics. This tenacity to be true to himself and write a good song led Matt to win his High School Talent Contest, a church songwriting contest and to play at various venues. Matt hails from Monroe, Washington and calls Cascade Community Church his home- the place where he first learned guitar and has participated in his youth group’s worship team. He credits his musical gift to God and hopes to use his music to bring glory to Jesus Christ. A few of Matt’s musical influences are Shawn McDonald, Shane and Shane, John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, and several friends from Monroe, among others.
