I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. I was raised by great parents who said hard work won't kill you. So far it hasn't! I attended Bowman High School-graduated in 1975.I have two great kids, a daughter 24 and a son 20. I am married to Bobby of 30 yrs. He is dx with ALS-I hate this freakin'disease! I work full time and also his caregiver. I have the best family support anyone could ask for.I have great in-laws and the best family. Thanks you guys for all you do for us!
I like being outdoors as much as I can. I am an avid gardener-my yard is my proof. I love taking photos, hiking and watching the sun rise and set. I enjoy going to music festivals. I love riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway and Roan Mtn. on a bike of course! I guess riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway is my most favorite place in the world. My dream is to ride the BRP on a Harley from end to end.
I appreciate the small things in life.I don't take things for granted. I have learned that life is way too short not to enjoy the things that really make you happy. I try to learn something new every day; I never want to stop learning or exploring. I don't tolerate laziness. There's not excuse for it! I believe in family traditions and we should pass them on to our children.
I love surprising people and giving to others. I believe if you give truly from your heart to others-you in return will receive something special in one way or another.
Some girls like shoes- I love Harley's! I love to ride through the mountains feeling the wind on my face and my hands outstretched like a bird with wings feeling the air flowing over my hands. It eases my soul and gives me peace as I ride on the greatest machine ever invented. So now you know I love Harley's and I love riding!
I think you learn a lot about people by just observing them, looking in their eyes and especially their hearts. Self-centered people turn me off.
