Killin Space

About Me

Killin Space is a 4 piece classic rock/metal outfit who are determined to bring the forgotten roots of rock back to live music! Formed in the summer of 2006, Killin Space grew quickly and within a year recorded a 3 track demo EP and began gigging throughout the north east with various local acts, expanding the set and adding new material as the months progressed.

Danny Thomson

Not your normal shredder, thats the best way to describe the bands sole guitarist. Danny takes on the ominous responsibility of both lead and rhythm guitar duties in the band, creating an instantly memorable groovy and heavy feel whilst producing blistering solos sitting somewhere between Jimmy Page and Janick Gers (the latter he is related to). He is a major creative influence in the band, constantly producing and evolving in his song writing.

Ben Cleaver

Ben offers the second half of Killin Space's powerful and groovy rhythm section. Feeding off the distinct lead and rhythm riffs of guitarist Danny, the bands bassist mixes up his playing to bear the brunt of the bands rhythmic pulse whilst adding a colour and depth to the guitar.

Chris Myers

On the pots and pans is Chris Myers, creating a Bill Ward-esque groove in Killin Space's 70's sound. His musical influences are so vast we may as well list every band created A to Z. Combining his groovy rhythm with Ben the team creates the groovy platform for the band.
