About Me

I'm no longer an overworked grad student, I'm now an overworked consultant. Go figure. I am a great friend, even though I am usually too far away to hang out (still in DC). I am a mess of contradictions. Bonn, Germany is my hometown, but I'm not German. I love sports and cute strappy shoes. You can take me pretty much anywhere. A USC football game, a black tie dinner with heads of state, London's West End, a rodeo, Vegas, a wine tasting in Italy, karaoke, salsa dancing, hip hop dancing, 12 hour bus rides next to large Turkish women or 24 hour ones down to Tokyo, big city, small town.... My Interests

I love sports and musical theatre. I love travel and languages (even though I'm not very good at them). I love taking pictures and hanging out with friends. I could sing all day long. Right now, I am on an Oscar nominee kick. I just knocked out the last Best Picture nominee this past weekend. Go figure, I went to see Letters From Iwo Jima on the Chinese New Year. Wait, you mean that wasn't in China? ;)

Music:

I like just about anything, especially going from one genre straight into a completely different one. For example, jumping from Rent to Nat King Cole to Pat Green totally makes sense to me. Mostly, I listen to a lot of musical theatre, country, pop, hip hop, and rock. I have been neglecting the musical theatre lately, though after catching some lyrics from Avenue Q regarding a degree similar to mine, I might have to check it out.
