About Me

Im originally from Copenhagen, Denmark which is quite a mecca for jazz of all styles & genres. I first came to Chichester College to study jazz & didn't expect to hang around for much longer. After studying for 2 years I decided enough was enough & my inner artist was itching to come out so I moved down to wonderful, beautiful, funny Brighton in 2003. Everyone was so kind & helpful & after a year it kicked off with 2 cruises performing with great jazzers. Now, I have a few regular bands but also work as freelance, I guess you'd call it. The great thing about jazz is that there's no specific way to play & I love playing my tunes with different musicians, each giving it their spice, making it a new piece each time. That's when communication kicks in & the things you then create on the spot are amazing & always exciting. Anyways, enough about that! The fixed bands I sing in are: My duo Oschlag/Henson Duo, Indigo Jazz Duo with guitarist, Simon Brewin. My very own lovely band: So Trio! The fabulous, swinging Rockin' In Rhythm: ....& the fantastic "making you dance till you drop" salsa band, Caliente. Check out our video here! .. ..
