We've been singing for as long as we can remember; but we started singing together in a group at the ages of 5,7, & 10. We were raised by our parents Nathaniel and Sadie Mahand in Greenville, Alabama with our two brothers. They instilled in us at an early age to sing for the Lord. In our youth, our dad was the church musician and our mom was not only the lead singer in the choir, but also the choir president. In other words, we had no excuse to miss choir rehearsal. In addition, they were also in a gospel singing group (The Gospelettes), which really broadened our horizons toward singing. In our training, we soon developed more gifts in the ministry. All three of us sing, play and write music/songs. We all have at some point in our lives been choir/praise team overseer or church musician and/or both. Through faith, God has allowed us to continue as a group, although all three of us live in separate states. We are really excited about what is happening with The Mahand Sisters. In February, we had the honor and privilege to open for Vickie Winans in San Antonio and Killeen, Texas. It was one most memorable events that has ever taken place in our lives, and we thank God first and foremost, but we also would like to thank Kelvin Pleasent for connections and his gifts in the ministry. God bless you our brother! Needless to say, we are looking forward to many more avenues where God will allow our ministry to shine upon His people. We want our singing to be a blessing upon every listener. We want everyone to know that we do not take our ministry lightly and want those who don't know Jesus Christ to want to know Him after hearing what we've been "singing" about.
