Hello! My name is Amber Begay and full-blooded Navajo from the Navajo Rez! Reprezent! lol..I am a Kiiyaa'aanii from the famous BlackRock, AZ! Let's see... Just a couple of things about me just briefly: I Love to have fun wherever I go, I like to travel, Drive, Run, Chill & Watch movies, make fry bread & tortillas (which I have gotten so, so good at, while hanging out at BlackRock over the summer..LoL.), hang out with friends, LAUGH, listen to music, go to concerts, and etc. I've recently began a new interest of taking pictures of beautiful landscapes, as well as, interesting & funny things I see anywhere I go. LoL. However, on a more serious note: I am very grateful, blessed, and proud to come from a LITSON family with such strong, Navajo traditional beliefs. It is my way of appreciating life A LOT more and having an understanding that experiences, situations, hardships and blessings, all have their way of working out and happening for a reason, the way it's supposed to. Life is constantly changing with the times, and things can never, ever stay the same, no matter how much you would like it to. LIFE is a struggle, accept it. People always come and go, but FAMILY and true FRIENDS will always be there. I am so grateful to have family and friends like that in my life. There will always be certain people that Enter, Stay, or Leave your life with something to teach you, even if it is in the smallest way. And in the end, strength and wisdom can only be built and grown. I have learned to always stay positive, through hardships and negativity that may occur around you. Staying positive can lead to happiness and, therefore, happiness can become the greatest achievement for an individual. I believe I have grown up so much just within a a few months, not only as a person, but I can say my traditional beliefs are only getting stronger; And I have so many people to thank for this realization that has occurred in my life. Alongside my different concepts on life, I am currently a Junior attending NAU in Flagstaff, AZ. I'm expecting to graduate next year with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I'm almost there and it's just within my reach, so giving up right now is NOT an option for me, and it will NEVER be. For those that already know me, I've been described as sweet, nice, chill, and funny person. I like to just chill and have fun. I am always willing to meet new people, because I know they can have a good impact on my life in some special way.
