I am originally from Michigan (yes, another Yankee who transplanted herself to the south). I have lived in The Great Lake State for my entire life and have only been in this state for two years. I decided to move here to try something challenging and new. I believe that it is important for people to stretch outside of their comfort zone in order for them to find out who they truely are and what they are actually capable of. I have already met some awesome Texans who have made a positive impact on me. People that I will never forget no matter what my next destination may be.
