I graduated in 1991 from the University of Texas El Paso with a BA in Journalism/Advertising/Marketing. In 2005 I received my Masters of Social Work from Barry University. My journey lends inspiration and integrity to song lyrics and poetry. I have written some lyrics that you are probably familiar with. i.e., I ain't saying she's a gold digger..... get down girl go ahead get down, and others. I'm currently working with a few producers. I am interested in working with musicians/procucers and other songwriters. For the past 13 years it has been my mission to uplift and empower women of all ages, ethnicities and social economic backgrounds. In 1994 I was the speaker for a program called Sister to Sister where I addressed women from a myriad of backgrounds including but not limited to, those experiencing difficult situations, life threatening diseases and drug addition. The goal of the workshops is to assist women in moving toward their catharsis thereby allowing them to discover ways to healing and loving themeselves.
