I really love to play. I have to play. I have to write down what I'm feeling... what I'm thinking and transpose it into song. I've always had to. I was a drummer to start with and have found that rythm and the need to hit things has crossed over into my guitar playing! I focus as much or more on the content being meaningfull as I do on the intricacy of the music... I guess what I mean is I really do love a song that gets through to people both musically and emotionally... thats when I feel that I've succeeded! I have been playing through out Ontario for the better part of 7 years. I began in and around the OwenSound area which quickly had me playing from Lake Huron (Sauble Beach) all the way to Barrie! Now, living in Toronto I am playing in places such as The Free Times Cafe, The Smiling Bhudda, The Foundation Room, Gorilla Monsoons, C'est What? and my home pub, Rockie Raccoons. I even have a weekly thursday night at Rockies that I've had for over a year now. I've played at one of Ontarios' biggest folk festivals "Summerfolk" in Owen Sound, I've been on Breakfast Television, and made the short list for the North by North East festival a few years back. Right now I'm writing music, playing as much as possible and seeing where the music gods might take me!
