Bio:
Grown up with electronic music pioneers like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze or Jean Michel Jarre in the 80's, Fohat discovered Psychedelic/Goa Trance around 1993 and found within this style his musical niche he is still hooked on. In 2001 he started bedroom Dj'ing with the first digital DJ software solutions which came out that time. After month and month of training and improving his skills on the software he entered the psytrance world 2002 offering himself as a real DJ. Since then he played on all kinds of parties and festivals all over Europe like in Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Czek Republic, Hungary, Croatia and for sure in his home region Munich and the rest of Germany. Nowadays he is combining his Laptop DJ Setup with CDJ's and a Groove Box (Machine), so that he can stay as flexible and creative within his sets as possible.
Style:
Trying to get more out of Psychedelic Trance he is always pushing the envelope of Industrial Music as well as EBM or other music directions. It is well decribed and known as Twilight Trance. Intelligent hard'n heavy nighttime music, always in a steady flow, never boring or just predictable. One can seeand hear him also spinning Morning Psy and Progressive Trance when it comes to late morning/daytime bookings. Within this styles he tries to keep his sets on the emotional side of things offering a unique flow with a meldodic approach.
