Popular Records was set up in 2006 by members of Wexford based band Adebisi Shank. It is run by Mick (Adebisi Shank) assisted by Vin (The Vinny Club) and Paul (Sylvan). Popular Records is a STRICTLY non profit label with no contracts. Bands associated with this label are free to release material on other labels as we hold no rights to their music. Popular Records is strongly rooted in the DIY ethic. Popular Records now operates as a member of The Richter Collective
