In April 2005, I went into a diabetic coma, nearly dying in Andy's arms; in less than a week I had lung and kidney failure with dialysis. The doctors told my family to prepare themselves because I wasn't going to make it. However, I've been blessed with the gift of life; I'm a living miracle. I'm thankful that I'm still here on this earth so I can finish the things I need to do. This is why I say to never take things for granted and live it up! "Live like you were dying!" Also I have few other songs that go along with how I have learned day in and day out. Cherish life, cherish each moment, cherish that God gave you another chance to get up in live another day. Any MOM should understand this graphic! ROFL... My kiddos are always telling me this especially since I have diabetes (my sugars are sometimes unstable therefore I forget)... Anyways, I'm a mom of 3 teens/young adults; let me introduce you to my children, Andrew, Jared, & Hollieanna. I'm a second MamaKatt to many of chidrens' friends which I love them all as my own but there are 2 special people that I love also as my own children and so let me introduce you to these 2 special people in my life, Mercier Jr and Mercia which I call them Jr and Tia! Don't get me wrong, there are MANY special children/teens/young adults that I love as my own yet I've been honored to help these 2 young people along the paths of their lives. Sometimes I did a horrid job and other times I didn't do so bad; afterall I'm a human mom ;) Through each experience I've had with all the children that have been in and out of my life I've finally learned and figured out what I want to do with my life. So as I start my new adventure of a new path to being a Child Psychologist I try to remember each lesson if possible and know that without each and every child that has stepped in my path I wouldn't be here and I'm thankful to be here. ^,,^ All my children are growing up so fast and it's been hard on me as a single mom but then it's normal, right?! So my first dedication is to my girls; they are growing up so fast and to be such beautiful young ladies so I know this song is old but it says what I want to you my girls, please listen to the message... I'm a mentor to a lot of my kidz friends, therefore, I have made them all an important part of my life as any momma would. As you can see being the best Mom I can be is very important to me. As all moms that truly care about their children, I'll do just about anything for them. But seriously, we need to stop and LISTEN to THEM and give them our feedback.
