About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

Okay, I'm into reading and writing. I'm a pretty analytical person, so I'm big on discussing ideas. I try to stay updated on politics and changes in our culture. I'm not the funniest person ever, but I try (sometimes I'm even funny on purpose). I try to stay active by playing sports while I still have the time (each year gets more and more busy). I love using parentheses (especially when I don't have to). If I could have any super power it'd be a toss up between flying and mind-reading (I can see the pros and cons of both). I'm good at inferring what people mean when they're trying to explain something. I guess that's a talent. I'm also great at creating awkward silences. Speaking of inferring things, you can probably infer more things about me if you read my interests, books, music, etc. section, so I'll stop here.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone named Salma Hayek, Charles Barkley (he's the funniest, most outspoken athlete of my generation), Tina Fey (that's right ladies, humor is hot), Dennis Miller (if you want to laugh, read one of his books...or watch his show), Condoleeza Rice (Oh, like none of ya'll think power is sexy), Magic Johnson, Conan O'Brien, Bill Clinton (I've got a few questions for him), George W. Bush (I've got a few more questions for him), Rick Warren, Kelly Clarkson (she single-handedly made American Karaoke worth watching), Quentin Tarantino, Rosario Dawson, There's a few others, but those are the main ones

What is Art and Who Gets to Decide: Our BookClub Discussion about Kurt Vonnegut

"Everybody thinks he or she can be a writer," he said with airy irony. "Don't tell me it's a crime to try," she said. "It's a crime to think it's easy," he said. "But if you're really serious, you'll ...

Leaden Circles Lead to Leaden Discussions: Mrs. Dalloway and Our 2nd Get Together

"She could see what she lacked. It was not beauty; it was not mind. It was something central which permeated; something warm which broke up surfaces and rippled the cold contact of man and woman, or o...

How to Tell if Someone's Lying in 5 Minutes or Less

I know you're not supposed to have the title of the text you're writing about as the same title of your essay, but I figured the book title would definitely suck you into the blog about the book. So, ...
