CYBELE

About Me

I was born in 1979 and in those years i was too young to appreciate the changes in music and social movements. At 13 yo i started playing electric bass guitar in senseless schoolbands, the with a couple of friends decided to give our horrible contribute to the local punk scene with a band called Further Emptiness Addictions (F.E.A.). In the middle 90's i found my self attracted by raves and the industrial immaginario, so i began to have fun beating bits of metal trying to make some fashinating rythm. Even if i was anti dance music, i bought a drum machine (tr727) and had fun with guitar fx. My liveset grew up and i started to travel with a van full of cables, living in squats full of cables, goin' around with brainless youngsters...After 2 failed sound system experiences (Natek, Reset) i met Hekate... unfourtunatly not the Goddess in person but a bunch of devotes. I was called Cybele and we soon recognized our affinities. Now i write music on my lappy, play doublebass in an anarchofolkmanouche ensemble (hope we'll soon record something), support squats, struggles & prisoners.P.S. : if you're not against capitalism, bio & nano technologies, animal testing, imperialism.... you are part of my enemy
