This formidable young entrepreneur delivers a bouquet of talents which include; singer, songwriter, poet, rapper, DJ, producer, recording engineer and...actress. She completed an acting program at KC Theater Arts under the tutelage of Lincoln Kilpatrick and Ed Cambridge.Tizzi’s debut solo CD “It’s About Time†is a declaration of independence announcing a new face of hip-hop. Inspired by rap legends Kurtis Blow and Busta Rhymes, Tizzi’s “It’s About Time,†retains all of the funk and urbanity of it’s hip-hop base and blends it with her cool, cosmic, sassy flow. Yes, she will enlighten you while she rocks you on the dance floor.
• Tizzi was co-writer and featured artist on the chart topping “Ladies Night,†Remix, released in Germany with Kool & The Gang.
• Worked with producers Mike City, Dalvin Degrate, Daryl Ross, Oji Pierce, Hami, J & Sweet.
• Opened for Busta Rhymes, Ice-T and YoYo.
• Was Yoyo’s hype person on tour with Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat, Jagged Edge, 69boys, Trina, Monica and Foxy Brown.
• Performed live with YoYo on BET’s Comic View.
• Was part of the Kurtis Blow “Old School Show†on Power 106.
• Tizzi penned “ Southern Route,†Which was aired on the Gregory Hines Show.
• Appeared as a featured artist on the Gregory Hines Show
• Was a writer on the “Get Smarter†script for the Gregory Hines Show.
• Tizzi has also showcased her talents at NBA Team Jam Session, Rock The Vote Concert, Platinum Live, MLK Parade, Larchmont, Club 217, Baked Potato, The Mint and The GIG in Los Angeles.
