ALEATORIC: describes processes which have been fixed in their outline but the details of which are left to chance
ALEATORIC describes my approach to making music. That is to say, there is no method to the madness. It's all intuitive. There are people out there who use dice or playing cards to determine randomness in their musical compositions, but for me it's as simple as liking what I hear and running in the direction that the good sounds lead me.
