DJ Colleen Gray has a unique spin on the industry. A native of Tampa Florida she has been in the entertainment business for over 15 years. She has been honing her image and business around becoming a DJ for over 15 years with the last 5 focusing on perfecting her musical skills on the tables.
DJ Colleen has a strong background in the Tampa Ybor City Club scene as well as the clubs here in the city where she has been playing for over 5 years. %D%A
DJ Colleen Gray has been backstage press for over 15 years with several magazines before producing her own. She has been backstage and worked with promoters and managers at Livestock several times, Ozzfest and WildSplash. She is a well-known photographer for that nightlife magazine and several others from Tampa Bay, Florida.
DJ Colleen owned the Magazine “Groove” from 1999 – 2004 in Tampa Florida where the Magazine organized party events with local promoters and reviewed the hot spots for specific genres of club-goers. While maintaining creative and artistic control, Colleen and “Groove” magazine set trends and influenced the local musical scene. Colleen organized and choreographed the “Groovy Girls” a dance troupe of 5 – 10 girls to attend the clubs and assist the owners and DJ’s in keeping the floor packed and the drinks flowing with entertainment.
DJ Colleen made numerous appearances on WFLZ 93.3 the Nielson #1 rated show with “Big Mama” for over a year she was a weekly guest and promoter of local DJ’s and Club events sponsored by Groove Magazine.
DJ Colleen and the Groovy Girls were also weekly guests on the competing station WILD 98.7 where we held several contests for listeners to go out with the staff on our weekly clubbing trips and special events.
DJ COLLEEN GRAY has more than music to offer. She has a line of hair care products ready to be released in her Salon in Florida. She has connections in several industries and the freedom to travel. She has the look and the experience. She is a businesswoman with the sex appeal that the crowds are looking for to get the dance floors jammed again. A
Specializing in the Dance Electric while tapping the Rap and Hip Hop are Colleen’s specialty. Throwing in the mix some old school rock and funk. Her talent is reading the crowd and entertaining them to the max.
