About Me

Chris Hodges was born in Farmington, New Mexico to musician parents owning a local music retail store. Surrounded by music from an early age, Chris picked up the guitar at the age of 14. He began attending Berklee College of Music in 2003 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Music. Graduating in 2007 with Magna Cum Laude honors, Chris also received the prestigious Harris Stanton Scholarship, World Scholarship and Berklee Achievement Scholarship awards. At 24, Chris now resides in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area where he is an in-demand studio and live guitarist in the local music scene. As a proficient composer of many styles, Chris instructed a series of clinics at Guitar Center focusing on theoretical and compositional techniques and is currently pushing his compositions towards a career in the video game industry. While pursuing his solo material, Chris spends time performing with two Top 40 bands, fulfilling lead guitar duties with the worship team at Mountain Valley Church, recording on many studio projects as well as teaching an average of 45 private guitar students a week.
