THE NAMELESS CREW

About Me

No need for introductions as we all want to remain NAMELESS! ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- All that aside we are Nameless and we want to stay this way, we are straight up Aussie Hip Hop or should we say Novacastran Hip Hop. We hale from the ever changing (not for bad not for good) Industrial town of Newcastle. We have been representing the local hip hop music scene for the last 3 years. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- It all began like most back yard concoctions do, in the shed, With mal constructed beats and disused rhymes from the years gone by. We just started doing it for the sake of it. Until our first gig in March of 2004 and realised that our beats and rhymes not only fuelled our want to make more music but also the people that were supporting us and that they wanted us to make more music. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- Our set consists of Two turntableist Dj Dukets and Dj BegZy. Two Lyrical Arsonists Mc FowlMouth and Mc Madman who is also our beat technician and our new recrute Final Productionists John Dough. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- Our raw and unflawed talent has seen us support the likes of Hermatude, Urth Boy and Ozi Batla and a sell out croud with The Herd, Muff n Plutonic, Layla, Draft, UpShot, Brethern, Butterfingers, Bluejuice, Frenzale Rhomb, Sonic Animation,The Butterfly Effect, Mark N and the Steel Cities finest hip hop act Blades of Hades plus well known acts such as Funkoars, TZU, Weapon X & Ken Hell and Hospice. We have performed in Melbourne that saw us play four gigs two at the Revolver Night Club in Prahran, the Evelyn in Fitzroy and the Vineyard in St Kilda. We have also played in Alexandria Sydney at the Iron Duke Hotel. With most of our weekends consisting of youth projects around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------- Our latest project has seen us successfully launch a radio show called Beat Fix, which has been going very well online with prospects of it hitting the fm band soon. It is a local hip hop show playing and promoting home grown acts as well as the Australian hip hop scene. We have bigger plains in the near future with more on stage antics more beats for the local party freaks and a full length album. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------- So if you’re keen on hip hop or just keen on supporting local acts then give us a go and go with the name you can trust NAMELESS! ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------- You can contact us via email at [email protected] or [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------"Went to newcastle last thursday for the DWC launch and the local supports were Nameless Crew. I just gotta say, look out for these fuckers ..they blew the stage the fuck up. Dope beats, energetic show. If you ever get the chance, check these guys out. Newcastle is bringin the heat." .........
