About Me
Victor Lazarus, a.k.a. Cool Vic, was born in Miami Beach, Florida. His father joined the U.S. military when he was born in 1974, and from that time until he was 14 years old, he and his family traveled the world extensively living in places such as Japan, Okinawa, Spain, Germany and numerous cities throughout the U.S. It wasn’t until living in Germany in 1983 when he first heard Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five’s, The Message, that he quickly realized music was what he wanted to be involved with for the rest of his life; specifically Hip-Hop music. He began writing songs at the age of 10 and recording at the age of 17. By the time he was 22 he owned his own music production studio.Victor’s major music influences growing up included Audio Two, Whodini, Run DMC, Doug E Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B and Rakim, Kool G Rap and DJ Polo, and Grandmaster Flash. Though inspired by all types of genres of music Victor’s roots are tied into Hip-Hop with his strongest influence coming from his business partner and close associate, Lordikim Allah. Victor and Lordikim together operate and manage a music publishing company called HYPEMEN ENTERTAINMENT. HYPEMEN ENTERTAINMENT specializes in placing songs in film, television and video games as well as licensing original musical compositions for advertisement and websites. Some of HYPEMEN’s credits include: American Pie 2, Pleasantville, Feel the Noise, Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror, Chevrolet and Ford along with WWE. HYPEMEN ENTERTAINMENT also manages music artists and producers.Victor is mostly interested in expanding his business ventures which are HYPEMEN ENTERTAINMENT, ALLDAY FENCE, and ALLDAY MAINTENANCE. An avid reader he can usually be found devouring several books at one time with a relentless pursuit for increasing his knowledge on all levels of human behavior, life, love and everything in between. A passionate writer and creative amateur photographer he finds joy in the simplest of things such as laying out on the beaches of Sunny South Florida, spending quality time with his 5 nephews, taking long walks with his two killer K9’s, or partying on the waters of Elliot Key with his close family and friends. A leader and a risk taker Victor is assured success in all aspects of his life and one of the reasons for this is because he has a unique ability to constantly surround himself with like minded individuals who share his same vision for success and who also seek to better themselves in all aspects of BEING!
