"All on Seven was founded in the late autumn months of 2006 by vocalist/guitarist Evan Palmer after his long awaited departure from the Sacramento based Alt-Rock band Walking Spanish. Fearful of the implications of being thrown in with the 'acoustic rock' or 'singer/songwriter' genre's, and tired of the 'folk-rock box' (as it has been called) Palmer created instead a vague and all-encompassing musical entity to preempt any confusion in nomenclature and classification. With a handful of old and new songs, the band's first collection of recordings, entitled "Lucky Guess" was hastily recorded and released in January and February on 2007. The record features Palmer on guitar, vocals, harmonica, and keyboards, and includes the world renouned drumming of Craig Stoller and Bass guitar antics of Timmi Picchi. The release and subsequent tour of the Greater Saramento Area proved to be to much on Picchi and Stoller, and in mid-March, percussion duties were handed over to mulit-instrumentalist/songwriter Kayla Schureman. In January 2008, after almost a year or local and regional preforming, and with the help of songwriter/producer extrodinare Scott McChane, they assembled a coffee drinking, beer/wine spilling, face melting, cigarette smoking, donut scarfing, heartbreaking, helicopter flying, hardware store-ing, knob turning, drum slaying, bass playing, bagel eating, gospel singing, fist pumping, baseball bat in the face, set your socks on fire, push your friends down the stairs into a kiddie pool of alligators, rock and roll savvy wrecking crew of local badasses (many of which can play instruments too) in order to record Sacramento's, and maybe all of america's best album in at least 20 or maybe 1,000 years. The record, entitled "Just a Rose" was released on May 30th, 2008 and is AVAILABLE FOR SALE at:
