I wanted to find a way to use the talent that I was blessed with to get out of a bad situation. I graduated from Thomas Edison High School and attended Philadelphia Communtiy College hoping, at the time,that basketball and a good education would be my ticket off the streets. I moved out at 18 and became involved in the street life in order to support myself. At the time I was still pursuing basketball as my dream in college when I got into a life threatening car accident in ohio and from that point on my life changed. After rehabilitating from my injuries I slowly watched my dream of playing professional basketball fade away. At that point I moved back to Philly and returned to the streets. December 26,1997, I realized I had to change my life for the better as my daughter was being brought into this world. Still unsure of my path,music, which was always a big part of my life, began to replace my dream of playing basketball. I became enthusiastic about writing music to the point where it became my therapy for the pain and struggles which I have endured. Through music and my faith in God my path became clear. ......
