I love the earth. I'm in the process of learning as much as I can about making this a better place. I'll keep you posted... For my outdoor activity needs: I will always have a love affair with rockclimbing. I don't get out much, but it will forever be a passion. Then there's snowboarding, but thats seasonal and expensive. Backpacking is a favorite with the boyfriend. We are always willing to bring friends :) I also enjoy a little yoga from time to time...perhaps those times should come more frequently. I recommend any of these activities to anyone...or come with me!!
Eco-lovers like me :) And anyone who wants to be involved in a great business with loads of opportunities!
It depends on my mood. And whether or not I'm driving. At any given time I'm listening to KCRW. (89.1 in Ventura) Some of my favorites include (In no particular order): Radiohead, The Album Leaf, Jesca Hoop, Sigur Ros, and Feist are the first ones that come to mind.
I love movies that are cool to look at. Such as: Amelie, Moulin Rouge, Chicago...the artsy ones. Musicals are what I grew up with, so I will always have an affinity for them. Or movies with an unusual story, such as Pieces of April, In America...And of course, the classics-The Princess Bride is the best one that comes to mind. Lately I've been interested in the environmental flicks: "An Inconvenient Truth" and "Who Killed the Electric Car?" I highly recommend those for anyone who wants to find a little more purpose in life.
I don't really watch much TV, otherwise this would be more valid. I do occasionally delight in the wonders of shows such as those from the History and Discovery channels. but I mainly try to fulfill my life doing other things.
I'm open to recommendations! I am currently reading "One Hundred Years of Solitude"- It's an imaginative book that just goes on and on. Also, "Blessed Unrest" is one I'm trying to get through with a group of friends from work. So far, so good, but it's one that requires the dictionary to be by its side at all times :) I also have some other eco-freak books on hand when I need them. I gave up on the one my dad gave me about being broke :) Pride and Prejudice is the most recent one that I have completed.
I'll get back to you...
