I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I think of myself mostly as a nice person. I feel bad when I don't stop for pedestrians and feel even worse when I hit them.I'm elsewhere...two places at once...multi-tasking?? My tip toes are on the ground and my head is in the clouds. Many call it a curse...I call it a gift.I am, first and foremost, a geeky girl leaning towards spooky-silly-weird tendencies. As a warning, by nature, I’m tempestuous and am all over the place and rarely found in stasis (but I know how to down shift and take a moment to breathe, smell the flora or think about if I'd win a wrestling match with an alligator or how fax machines work). I have many obsessions mostly involving anything from my "Interests" list and whatever else catches my attention. I love interesting conversations about everything and I like to learn new things no matter how useful or useless the topic is. I’m scattered but not a scatterbrain (well...maayybee a bit, a BIT). I'm a dreamer and my head may be in the clouds but I’m not an airhead. I’m a bit old fashioned and a bit avant-garde rolled into one and many have a hard time understanding me. I treasure my friends and family though sometimes I forget to tell them that. Drama is not something I look for but enjoy watching. I am a muse and an enabler, seeking to inspire. I’m optimistic but not without my bad days followed by a good cry, of course, and if you have a problem with that you can just suck it. Oh, geez, half the time these days I just feel awkward...hmm, what else...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Most of all I'd like to meet people that make me laugh. I love to have a good laugh and those that make me laugh I love. Likewise, if my antics don't crack a smile I take it personally ::sigh::. I want to meet people who want to watch every vampire movie made--good or bad. I'd also like to meet those that are just as weird, spooky and silly as I, though, sadly, some few I'd like to meet are already dead...

My Blog

The Days are Darkening...

Before long I will be going to work in near dark and coming home in the dark and with the dark comes the aching cold and permeating wet.  What this means to most who work 8-5 jobs is the end of t...

The Worlds Shortest Fairytale

(Translated by me from the original German text circa 1599, and I have more than likely lost vital key points and/or context but don't care either way) Once upon a time, a girl asked a guy, "Will you...

Mad Libs

So there is this woman that's been moved from customer service to the receptionist station at work.  The move was premeditated in hopes that being so close the the president's office, that o...

Hats off to zombies!

Can I just say that I had one of my most entertaining evenings Saturday night (the Saturday before Holloween) there in Fright Town's Black Box? I spent that night as a fog zombie and I can't describe...

Death to Krispy Kreme

Today was a day of revelation.  I had my very first Krispy Kreme donut...and I dont' get it--I'm convinced that they may actually taste like crap or "near crap" (kinda like near beer--but not).&...

What do you think it means?

So, Snake and I were visiting someone in the hospital the other day and as we were leaving, walking down an unusually busy corridor, minding our own business, two men open fire upon us.  Sna...

Moved by music

Saturday, September 17th, 2005 I experienced a moment of beautiful tranquility.  Dead Can Dance performed at the Paramount in Seattle.  I love to people watch, as many do, and noticed a...
