It was the sound of the roaring twenties that brought Eren Solak and David Koch together, their love towards the swinging melancholy of this golden decade. Mutually they rediscovered old Jazz classics, uniting its coolness with warmth. Their music focuses on the essential: Pure Jazz, without electronic influences or complex arrangements. Two guys on stage, one piano and two soulful voices: The melody and the sax.David Koch too has got considerable experience in Jazz. He already played alongside Toni Lakatos, the Berlin Jazz Composers Orchestra and the RSS Orchestra. Consequently, both Eren and David already got into a lot of different Jazz facets thus developing their own style. Their common repertoire is inspired by compositions of well-known artists like George Gershwin or Cole Porter, but they don’t just imitate them. The two musicians interpret a selection of timeless songs like "What A Difference A Day Made", swing classics like "In A Mellow Tone" or Jazz ballads like "Body and Soul", in their own simple but sentimental way.The duo performs both on stage as well as, on small-scale diners or cocktail-parties. Whether hotel bar, company reunion or wedding, those two wonderfully complementing voices enchant their audience on every occasion with warmth and coolness.
