I was born in North East England, and moved to londonn to attended Goldsmith College, London, as i knew it had a history of producing a variety of artistic talent, from fashion designers Mary Quant and Vivien Westwood, to music with the likes of John Cale of Velvet Underground, Damon Albarn, Alex James and Graham Coxon from Blur, and i wanted to follow that long line of talent. I went determined type of person who wants to make her musica lmark Hannah took on the road clocking up the miles and gigging regularly in the UK & Europe. All that gigging finally paid off when i was spotted by successful PoweRHousE production and management team, who subsequently me signed me up.The first recordings i did with PoweRHousE brought attention initially from the music industry outside the UK, where i was doing the majority of my live shows.
Certain people began to say i was one of the most promising young UK female artists, and certain parts of the media strted drawing comparisons with Debbie Harry in her early years, that really threw me!. But as i said in a radio interview, while i am flattered to be compared to such an icon, i am most definitely following my own individual musical path.
