Christian Myspace Layouts - Bible MySpace Layouts
Christian Myspace LayoutsHey there! Welcome and what up?, you have found your way to my site, was it by chance, mistake or was it meant to be? The profile name, BDOG is for Ben Depends On God, and I share with you that I try to do that each and every day 'cause life in general is a rough and rocky road with all sorts of potholes, detours, under contruction signs and lots of road hazards!! I have to depend on someone I know that can provide all things, Jehovah Jireh...God provides! Well, I'm Ben Little and I'm Absentee Shawnee and Seminole/Creek, still residing in the great city of Shawnee, LOL! I'm married to the wonderful and talented, Ms. Elsie (Grant)Little, also known as Eek, LC and my personal fav, (FLIP)...which means a "funky lil' island person" since she is half filipina and half Sac & Fox. We have the great distinction of both being college graduates of Oklahoma Baptist University, I always thank that is so awesome. Currently, I'm working for my own tribe, I never thought that would happen or I would have a desire to do so, but God works in ways we don't comprehend. HE's always working behind the scenes setting things into motion according to the plan and purpose for each of us. I'm also currently serving as the interim pastor of our church which is pretty exciting and challenging especially with the rebuilding of our new building since it was destroyed by fire in early 2008. I'm a new preacher having only surrendered to the ministry almost a year ago at Indian Falls Creek 2007...but I've already had the opportunity to preach at a few revivals, rallys and pulpit supply, all praise, honor and glory to God. It's been almost a year since our four foster children were removed to be with the natural family and not a day goes by that I don't stop and think about them, I especially pray for them. If I said the last year without them hasn't been hard, I'd be lying, because it has been the hardest thing to do, but I serve a mighty, powerful and awesome God who is able to restore my strength, supply me with courage and give me comfort. What I rely on to get me through the rough spots besides my dependence on GOD is the note that our oldest daughter left for my wife and I which read something like this: "Mom and Dad, thanks for everything, thanks for showing all of us Jesus and God's love. Mom, one of these days you're going to be a GREAT teacher and Dad, I hope you go and PREACH all over the world." So when the rough times hit and trust me they do I often think back what was written on that note and also remember one of my favorite verses of Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him and who have been called according to his purpose."
