MONADE PRODUCTIONS was established in 1998 as a result of the very expensive rates in recording studios. After a year or so, I got together with an Norwegian actor, Terje Brevik and Morten Hattestad from â€AT THE BARN†Productions in Fredrikstad and arranged a multimedia concert.This idea was a direct result of a multimedia concert I went to see in New York in the beginning of 99. I was fascinated by the use of music, acting, lyrics, pictures and poems and wanted to try this for a Norwegian audience. And sponsored by Amnesty International, we held this concert at "Rode Molle" theater in Fredrikstad in the spring 99. Money from this concert was dedicated to their ongoing project for world peace. A musical taste from this concert will be made available shortly.I started composing this kind of music 15 years ago. I wanted to make music for relaxation...and have now developed a sound and style that is my own.I have previously released 2 albums, "MONADE", released in 1998 and "Northern Dream" realised in 2003.My music is basically music for relaxation and meditation...but I also like to make music for films and other Medias.I like to use nature sound in my music, and native instruments like Didejeridoos and different Samic and Indian drums... Up to now, most of my music is non-beat based music, with floating harmonies and endlessly changing chords. This is now slowly changing, and as you can hear in Trancendental journey...I have used drums and percussion.I like to experiment with many different stiles and instruments...and VOCALS...so if you play some "odd" and rear instruments, or want to try to "sing" to my kind of music...don’t be shy, contact me...
