Band Members:Incognita Bio The music of Incognita is in a lot of ways the reflection of the blending of sounds and rhythms that results when different cultural sounds are expressed as songs.

Having one foot in one culture and the other in another culture gives an unconnected yet universal feel to the music so that initially hearing it, it is difficult to categorize, to put in a box. The style of music always has a rich rhythm that builds on its African roots. The soulful vocals and steady rhythm always side step interestingly with the music whether on a tune reminiscent of punk rock, or over a Mediterranean melody line.

Incognita is currently working on a debut album: “Is the Sun Out Yet”

BET AWARDS 2007

MmmmHmmm "Why oh Why oh Why oh Why Not Shoudn’t I represent this Shit Called HipHop! Well R U High Yet...."

Okay we were there for about 4 days right. Didn’t barely see anyone famous right. But then at the freaking airport after we missed our flight (Northwest -need i say more...) Guess who we see - I’m sorry but if we knew the airport was where the stars hangout, we would have stepped up our game, you know what i’m saying!Leaving LA we saw Shemar Moore and our girl Vivica in the span of like 30minutes

Influences: I believe that to tap into the creativity of our essence, we need to be constantly moving, changing, mixin it up (At least that’s my excuse for going out so much!) Contraditions makes the creativity that comes from the soul so special and unique. I get inspired by contrasts: Lenny Kravitz
