So what's up with Betty? Well, living in Berkeley and commuting to Oakland for work. (I know, the 12 mile commute is brutal. Sitting on the bus really takes it out of you.)

I like my job. I'm doing energy efficiency, mostly, with some renewable energy and greenhouse gas accounting sprinkled in from time to time.

My Interests

painting, memorizing traffic light patterns, fish tacos (yummy) and chocolate covered espresso beans, people watching on public transportation, crochet (specializing in beanies and scarves)

But seriously, I love to see my peeps out in the Left/Best/West coast.

Television:

I prefer not to say in public. (rhymes with "erican idol," or "erica's ext op odel" or lastly, "ove new york") I guess if you're going to watch mindless tv, why not go for the creme de la creme?

Books:

yes. i like to read. the last book i read was "Don't Let s Go to the Dogs Tonight." interesting memoir about growing up white in africa during the 70's and 80's.
