About Me

There is no good way to describe myself in a few sentences. We are all mysterious beings made of the indescribable. I carry the spirit of light and the late afternoon sky in me. I'm passionate, bold, intense, curious, intelligent, quiet and shy all at once. I am equal parts god and beast, spirit and fire. I have had a very full life and have started to become formless. I've seen the bright and sublime, but I've also seen darkness and despair. Life is precious, and it's just way too short to see and do everything I'd like to experience. I love silent, thoughtful, soulful people. I love human beings who are willing to take a stand for whatever it is they believe in and who create whatever it is they need to while they are here. I love women who accept their beauty and their divine radiance, women who are passionate, feminine, capable. I love men who are man enough to be strong and confident yet honest enough to admit being wrong and weak sometimes as well, men who remember that strength and tenderness can go hand in hand and that power should be tempered with compassion. Everyone here came into this world alone and everyone here will leave this world alone, but this means that each of us is enough, that we already have everything we need for this great adventure inside of us, that we are made of the light of stars, the warmth of a fire and the joy of a small child...

Twitching with Twight

BY MARK TWIGHT What's your problem? I think I know. You see it in the mirror every morning: temptation and doubt hip to hip inside your head. You know it's not supposed to be like this. But you d...

Favorite Poetry

Words aren't real-they're a human construct.  They are just symbols or metaphors for something else, something real, but if they're put together just so, if they're written when the poe...
