Band Members: Tom Arndt - strings and more strings and mashed cat sounds
Dik LeDoux - strings and not so many strings and "did somebody step on a duck?"
A J Adelman - thumpa, thumpa, thumpa
Influences: The tidal pull of the moon, the rumbling in our guts, the bills stacking up, the flashing lights in the rear-view mirror, the constant irritation of our spleens...
Sounds Like: Depends on who's listening. However, the 6 songs posted at this time are pre-mastered versions of some songs from our first CD, Landscaping. If you want to hear the hi-fidelity unsquished mastered versions (who knows, it could happen), you'll have to somehow get ahold of an actual copy of the actual CD. Note that, even as the demand for hi definition video goes up, and simultaneously the demand for hi definition audio goes down, we still hard heartedly insist on providing hi fi aud for those of you who like your music thick and played on big ass speakers. Where was I? Oh, yes, so, well, enjoy the songs. Or whatever.
And now, ladies and gentlemen and those who aren't sure, we announce that as of July 2008 we are once again holed up in Cordova's finest sonic cubbyhole, Mighty Aw Poots, to record our new CD. Yeah, we got a bunch of new songs, and it seems only proper and correct that we squirt them onto removable media for your listening pleasure. Also, this kind of exercise helps relieve the nervous twitch in our brains. The working title for this little exercise is Retarded Visions Of Dignity. Of course, like all working titles, it is ridiculous and won't last because we don't really know what it means. We don't care if we don't know what our own songs mean, but it is necessary that we understand an album title in order for us to embrace it. So, enjoy it while it lasts. Oh, and we may from time to time put up an unfinished track for your amusement. Sure, why not?
Love,
TD&H(AJ)
