About Me

I Admit Defeat are a 4 peice Grind/Spazz Metal Band who hail from in and around the Greater Manchester area. Blending the complexities of melodic bliss and crushing blows a la to Every Time I Die, From A Second Story Window and Dillinger Escape Plan, I Admit Defeat have developed a sound suitable for a number of different musical pallets. Building a gradual fan base I Admit Defeat have had the privilege of sharing the stage with bands such as Malkovich (Reflections Records), November Coming Fire (Reflections Records), Enter Shikari, Archer, Camorra(calculated risk), and more recently acts such as Mendeed (Rising Records), Son of the Mourning (Engineer Records),Devour Thy Sins(TDON), Heresy of Thieves(TDON), Penknifelovelife and The Blacktop (Smalltown Records). With a third CD under their respective belts and the prospect of future gigs with some of the above and many more I Admit Defeat appear to cast aside any labels of just another Metal-Mosh-Death-Core outfit and of something that will in the future come out on top.
