My Interests

wild crafting, crafting wildly, mushroom hunting and finding, planting-tending-harvesting and savouring yummy yummy goodness of the earth, buildings of the earth, building compost, cold spring water, hot spring water, hot water, fire and all its many transformative powers, food as medicine and celebration, living in a yurt, yoga love, meditating, deep breathing, dancing and singing, animal wisom, the moon, the stars and all of creation.

Miss Tess and The Bon Ton Parade.. check her out! barnyard and kitchen tunes (Crooked Still, Gillian Welch, Chris Lynch and cellojoe, newfie music), cozy down and campfire music (feist), revolutionary music (Michael Franti and Spearhead cellojoe), chill music (Shimshai), chanting and drumming (Krisna Das), kirtan, Oming all that. Oh yeah and blues (Chris Cotton).

Movies:

Are you kidding I have to tell you all my favorite movies so many... mostly all foreign or independant. The Weeping Camel (Mongolian), Cuckoo (Finnish), Earth, Fire, Water (Deepa Matha directed set in India), Born into Brothels (documentary set in the brothels of Calcutta Awsome!!!), Murder Ball (another great documentary from here).

Television:

don't watch it... but I did get hooked on Six Feet Under and watched all five seasons on DVD. Does that count? One cool real life thing that I learned from it though, was that you can have a eco buriel on an open space preserve... no casket.

Books:

Tom Robbins Skinny Legs and All was my first and favorite. The Autobiography of a Yogi... , The Botany of Desire, Wild Fermentaion EAT LIVE FOODS, The Humanure Handbook read the intro to it. The Tao of Health Sex and Longevity.
