One man...One keyboard... Ten fingers... Craig Elson!Craig is 24 years old and comes from a small town in the Midlands called Burton on Trent. He has enjoyed music since he was a small child and he was soon strutting his stuff when he was first bought a small keyboard when he was 10. He began making his own little tunes up and showing a keen interest in music. He was later bought a basic organ and began organ lessons at the age of 11, this was continued for the next 7 years until he passed all the 7 grades. After having two organs, Craig decided that the keyboard was the way to go now in this day and age.He purchased his first big keyboard (Roland E-600) for around £600, and enjoyed what he could do with the new rhythms and sounds that an organ couldn't do then. He then upgraded after a year for a Yamaha PSR 9000 PRO for around £1300. Again, this impressed the music maestro to continue enjoying music, but Yamaha proved not to be his favourite make in keyboards so he yet again changed it and bought his current keyboard, a Roland G-70 workstation for £2300.This was followed by a Boss recording studio at his home whereby he could record straight onto CDs and use it as a hard drive too to store all his recorded songs and ideas. It has allowed him to do things that was impossible prior to having the studio.Recently in 2006, he decided to take up the challenge of writing his own songs as he had dreamt of doing for a long time. His first song was called 'Paradise Island'. This was recorded in September 2006 and later re-recorded and fine tuned for the dedication of his dear Grandads funeral in October 2006. Although it is just a song to everyone else, it has deep meanings when he plays or listens to this now.December 2006 saw the sign of his second hit 'Living the dream'.Craig then took a different turn in music and showed his talent in what he could do with his voice. He has always loved singing but only on his own, but now he is hopefully releasing an album with just his vocal talent on rather than his playing. His main influence for music are the Bee Gees so I'm sure there will be a few classic Bee Gee tracks on his new album! As he also works hard managing a supermarket full time, he always makes time for his recording studio when he can on days off. Please rate his songs, and make any comments you think necessary on Craigs page as he is always interested in feed back whether good or bad!Finally... enjoy the music!!CME ProductionsRIP Gary Dudley - You will be missed so much by us all at work.
