I like lots of things - records of all sizes / art / running / baking biscuits / trees / cats / djing / tidying things in to neat piles especially my business papers / .... and other things...bikes. capes. badges. the moon. oak leaves. the whuuur like sound of the humble cassette tape. i find google image search is a good way for a cheap laugh. simple pleasures, hey?!
It changes all the time, but today ? Low, Clinic, Malcolm Middleton, Anything on Leaf, like Colleen, All releases on the Vampi Soul label - mostly Andre Williams. Most of the Fat Cat label esp. Mum and Amandine, a lot of Yep Rock releases are a treat too!... I don't have favourites BUT Sigur Ros and Amiina together was probably one of the best feelings I've ever experienced from watching people make music. It was immense. My favourite bands are the ones who can cut it live. Most impressive / recent gigs have been provided by : The Sadies, A Hawk And A Hacksaw, Dirty Three, Gindrinker, Hornby Pylons, Smog, Adem, Acid Mothers Temple and Final Fantasy. Oh - and of course Creedence will always be in my heart.
