Actually just talk and network with fellow filmmakers and film industry types like myself. Don't spend time online looking for chat and romance because life is so busy these days ;-) More of my friends are women than men and maybe because they seem to be better communicators. I get more input from my female buddies and they are wonderful about networking and spreading word about my film and media work! Many thanks to my friends on myspace!!! Oh, btw, in the nicest way I can say this, I just don't have the time, unfortunately, to respond to chain letters, pass-along-to-friends-messages (or I'll get 10 years bad luck), or personality quizzes, and none of these will get posted to my site -- am getting a lot of requests and emails as it is... I will, however, always strive to respond to your comments and intelligent emails whenever possible ;-)......
Ambient (Ulrich Schnauss, Franco Funghi, Boards Of Canada, Air, Ishq, Ott, Global Communication, Delirium, among others), Dance, Trance, Techno, Drum n Base, Rock, Electronica, Jazz, New Age, some Hip-Hop, some Pop, House, Industrial... I'm open to Experimental Music with an Edge, and of course I like your "good old mainstream" Alternative sounds such as: "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day, and "Clocks" by Coldplay... some oldies like "Crazy" by Seal, or "Don't You Forget About Me", from Simple Minds... And naturally I'm a sucker for mainstream Female Vocalists such as: Sarah McLachlan (right from the time she started with "Delirium") and Dido (Enjoyed her "Life For Rent" album)... at this moment in time, am listening to Madonna's CD, "Confessions On A Dance Floor"... "Hung Up"(the play on time is cool)... and "Forbidden Love"... many ppl don't care for her, but she's a true artist, just very independent... Anyways, I digress... music... Oh, yeah, I love music! It's like air to me... I live it, I breath it, and I love it!......
Too many my friend... everything from the classics like "The Breakfast Club" to Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" and a few new ones in between...I look for pivotal moments in film: The bag swirling and dancing on a vortex of wind, caught up for a millennial moment in "American Beauty"... Three Japanese Aviators saluting a willful English Boy in an internment camp in "Empire Of The Sun"... The archeological dig in Iraq: the tired Priest facing down the leering statue of a powerful winged Demon, snarling dogs fighting amidst a rush of wind and sand at its feet, while a blood-hued molten sun sets into the Iraqi desert in "The Exorcist" - tell me that's not prophetic and years ahead of its time... The futile attempt at social reform, a film within a film of the war machine, in Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange"... The gritty reality of battle in Ridley Scott's "Black Hawk Down" and his earlier dark and depressing film noir, "Blade Runner" ... Scarlet's independence and strength, her willfulness and fight, as she rises from the ground, raises a defiant fist to the burning sky, and declares she will never go hungry again in "Gone With The Wind".........Am now be much like see "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan"... is nice... yes?
Have TV... with remote... gift from Borat, from Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan... but no time - TV...
Ah, but of course
Borat
