About Me

I had the strangest dream…it continues it is my life: The crest was in 2004 I was in two bands, recording two records that were miles apart in style. Biked downtown and back 5 days a week to rehearsals with Msg. chrome, a Progressive Rock band from Montreal. In 8 months we wrote 14 songs together and did a few shows then broke up...life happens but I really kind of miss them and wonder how they are; Une Vie is one of our collaborations it is an introduction to Helmout Mouteux. The other two days we were working with the Nettye band, we did a bunch of gigs downtown a couple of festivals and Halloween in Lachine…CD launch for ‘not really blue’. Small stuff really, the hard part is continuity where change is inevitable and then the band broke up, got back together, broke up…and the music plays on. So here you are at my long neglected page to honor my friends and musicians whom I respect very much that have helped me to grow as an artist. This page is for promotion use only. Please visit often. Leave a comment on the different songs, add us as a friend. We are an outrageous bunch. Gary Davis another artist I worked with is one of the first dudes to hand me his guitar and let me play a song at the end of the night one night at Hurley’s here in Montreal. He liked what he heard and encouraged me to continue...and so I did. It became a thing ‘Monday Nights at Pub Claddagh’ where Steve finally gave me a paying gig after a year…Anyway Gary agreed to play on my record. He plays guitars on ‘White light’ and ‘Sentimental Fool’ from the CD ‘not really blue’. But that isn’t where my musical journey started. I have always been a writer, growing up I wrote poems and short stories and I still do, very short stories, we call them songs. I listen to many styles of music so I can’t really say I have a favorite. Maybe I can say my music, but on this page it is our music, I am lucky to have been there. Some one told me once…”Inspiration has to find you”. Speaking of “Inspiration”…check out my picture near the water taken April 2009…reflections of two stars and a plane on the water…a Star…I love when that happens…Life is extraordinary, and yet so many times we forget. I wanted to build a page to honor those who I have worked with making music, my favorite past time. This page is dedicated to those songs: The song 'While you were sleeping' co written with ‘This Fly boy grounded’ from England January 2009…a song about John Currie's little angel Emma. Visit their myspace page. The song 'Unstoppable' was written with Sari Dajani for ‘The Hollywood Summit Show’ in the summer of 2008. Check out ‘The Hollywood Summit show’ video for the song ‘Unstoppable’. Going way back, in 1999 Iain McNally and I collaborated on the song ‘Inspiration’ Iain McNally appearing as producer...we got a FACTOR grant for that song. ‘Inspiration’ was co written with Christophe Targiroff back in 1997 and then later we wrote the song 'Sentimental fool'; found on the CD 'Not really blue'. The song ‘Priceless’ was also written with McNally. Other collaborations with him were ‘The Believers’ and ‘Stranded’; the cool rocking drummer Randy Cooke appearing. ‘Stranded’ was a cool collaboration, I was singing it to Iain and said “I think it has a Rolling Stones sound to it”, he produced the song playing all instruments, except the drums …that was Randy. I wasn’t even there when they finished the song. They work hard these musical people. And I am so lucky to have been there. … currently all the songs on this page are sung by me, but I have a dream to have someone sing one of my songs one day… and maybe I’ll hear it in a new way…More to come…
