Marlek is currently working on several collaboration projects with various artists, the most recent being a collaboration with ex Six By Seven member Chris Davis on his current project 'Spotlight Kid.' Their new EP "Crystal Dreams" (which has already had airplay on BBC radio) will be released on CD and download in early 2010 through Two & One Records, with Marlek having co-written all the recordings that will be featured. Check out www.myspace.com/spotlightkidsound for a sneak preview.2009 saw a collaboration with ex-Elevator Suite member Andy Childs, resulting in two tracks that are featured on the album 'Laurels and Hardlies,' by 'Hoodiez,' released through the independent label BulletProofSonics. You can download the tracks or album from www.junodownload.com.In 2008 Marlek teamed up with the electronica/house DJ Jamie Anderson. Their track 'Sunlight' (described as a 'tech-house vocal blinder' by online music magazine Data Transmission, and 'an incredible release that gets the crowd hype' by Traxsource.com, as well as gaining rave reviews from DJ Magazine, IDJ, and Mixmag to name a few) was signed to San Francisco's renowned Om Records, and has since appeared on many of their 2008/9 album releases.
