The swing to the west was good. A hit produced. Rico Linder is the "next big one" a top industry head suggested.
Born in the Bronx of New York, Rico laid down in three different bouroughs. The voices of Manhattan are taking shots at the young man. The Bronx will say he was born here. But when he crossed the bridge, Brooklyn became the stable and playgrounds.
Coming from a humble beginning, Rico is the son of a former big man, who was gunned down while he was four. Raised by a single parent, the streets engulfed the young man. "It was tough witnessing the death of my father. The streets took me in. I had no other place to turn to."
But desperate to save her children, Rico's mother moved the boy and his older sister to the small town of Saint Matthews, South Carolina. There, Rico shined as a point guard and was nominated as an All-State guard by several publications.
Things were going slow for the young man and he made his move back to New York. Bedstuy. Brooklyn. He crossed the bridge and honed the skills of a baby bad ass. "Shit you know, I was hungry, my people's getting money on the block. I wanted to see what's up." And the transition began.
"That's my inspiration for this track called "College or Pro." I know dudes with NBA and NFL money. And they play pro ball believe me. Ain't no jokes. These dudes ain't playing with their money man. And I was asked college or pro."
In a listening session, legendary rapper Medusa the Goddess Gangsta of Los Angeles, California looked into the eyes of LA McNeal and declared, "he could be the next 50 Cent." Medusa have recently worked with Teena Marie and MC Lyte and contains an incredible musical resume.
Soleternity of Hussle House Records has produced tracks for Young Buck of G-Unit, Lil Scrappy, Bone Crusher and many more.
"This is the hardest material I've done all year. I would love to grow with him. He's an incredible talent."
During another session, producer Ahmad Rashad, Jr. spoke upon the work ethic of Rico. "I love it. He just goes in there and knocks it out. He don't play around. He get's the job done."
Money Group Enterprise is proud to introduce talent, Rico "The Swag" Linder.
"We're not playing games. Everything is real. In the song "My Life" Rico mentions his older brother in the manner. "I only met my brother once/ I wish we could have hung out, or smoked a couple blunts /if anything I'd rather see you behind the six inch glass/ instead of 6 feet under the grass or on the obituary."
Mix Tape coming soon.
